Gaylord Perry blanks the Sluggers!

Cooperstown's Gaylord Perry pitched a NO-HITTER as he beat the Sluggers 7 to 0. Perry walked 2 and struck out 8 as the Oklahoma fans gave him a standing ovation at the end of the game. The hitting star for the Cardinals was Jim Fregosi as he hit a homer while filling in for the injured Doug Rader. The no hitter was Perry's first of his career. He and Jim became the first brothers to throw no hitters in the NCABL. Jim Perry no hit Knarro in 1971.
