Catfish Hunter ended the Ants regular season in style by No-hitting the Cooperstown Cardinals, 1-0. Catfish faced the minimum 27 batters, walking 2, striking out 6. Cardinal starter Joe Coleman was nearly as stingy, allowing only 4 hits. Jose Cardenal singled in Jim Beauchamp in the 3^rd for the games only run.
